well, it's been 3 wks into my semester n i stil dunno wat i'm doin/supposed to do.
FYI, m currently doin a project for my Bach. of Med Science degree.. so no tests, no exams till june next year..YES!!!!!!
BUTTTTT, gotta submit my thesis in May.

hmmmm..accordin to sources, tis is supposed to b a break, or a honeymoon yr, slack off yr, laid back yr....or wateva, but y do i stil havta drag my lazy ass to the hosp every single day??!!
hmmmm..it's not as bad as it sounds, but without knowin wat i m actually doin, the day juz passes by like tat, n it's time to go home again.

Sneak peak into my daily life:

9/10/11am- depends on wat time i get up, it's reli hard to get out of bed nowadays..izzit me?or izzit winter?
10am-12pm- sit, procrastinate, drink coffee/hot chocolate (mind u, i juz discovered a super duper, awesome coffee machine in the tearoom..but imagine the CALORIES!! as gary puts it, "it's all goin to ur asssss"), then procratinate again, sittin in wif the oncologists (tip of the day: urinalysis in baby/kid language--> 'do a wee-wee')
12pm-1pm- actually doin somethin, readin, buggin some ppl to fill in questionnaires on the phone (some1 actually hung up on me today, great..)
1pm- lunch!!!!
2pm-5pm- doin my lit review-i actually spend a fair amount time doin work, drink MORE coffee/choc, online shoppin/msn (can't help it, since i can't log on to fb or youtube, some1 was nice enuff to block it from the hosp's internet)

Swot vac---> AAAARRRGGHHGHGHG!! MAY DAY..

anyways, it's swot vac now n last day of uni juz ended..byebye sem5..halo examss T_T

it was the last time tat all 300 meddies wil be together at the same place (i wil miss u all!! xoxo=P), except for graduation!!

well..been to mornington twice~ it was simply beautiful, bout 1.5 hrs drive from melby
wif all the beaches n stuff, apple farms, fishin etc..

also went on an roadtrip to grampians durin easter, went hikin n stuff, obvious from the pics, tat was exhaustin, but wif the special company, it was rather memorable i muz say..(hehe..u know wat i mean=P)

Starstuck

Was strollin down southbank one sunny afternoon.



Got a oh-so-refreshin gelati from trampoline. (Il dolce freddo, u r stil my 1 n only luv, but too bad u weren't open on monday)



Then, noticed some dudes holdin these huge reflective thingies by the Yarra River.









it turns out tat they were shootin tis Bollywood@Tollywood film..(it's called a telugu film so i guess tat= tollywood rite?? at least google says so)









Accordin to a fellow onlooker, apparently the actor n actress r HUGE in India---> Ilyana n Telur/Telu?? Rings a bell??

The actress is indeed a beauty. as for the actor, hmmmm..u can decide for urself. but i thought Pn. Zakinah has better taste than the producers/ppl hu chose the cast=P

2nd week of uni~

Hi ya peeps!! i noeeeee..been a long time since i updated, but anyways..




haih, uni started for 2 wks d, it's the beginning of the usual goin-to-uni-comin-back-n-procrastinate routine. wel, tis sem is bout microbiology..ooooooooooooooooooooohh, interestin no?hmmmm..so far it only made me suspect tat i hav salmonella in my food n perhaps UTI (those hu played bridge wif me last nite, u understand=P), wonder how paranoid i can be at the end of the sem. AAAHHHHHH, all tis talk bout studies, rite?


well, "BOO"!! say 'hello' to my nerdy side. Last but not least, wat the heck! i hav a 8am class tis time. -_-


anyways, juz recently discovered a console tat's reli reli coolllllllll!!

been in myer almost everyday for the past 2 wks queuein up to play, well, not actually queuein, we ended up hoggin the thing for like an hour. always only leavin when we hear a voice---->

Masuk hospital~

Yea, tat's rite, ntg's wrong wif ur eyes..i did indeed 'masuk hospital' via the emergency dep..rmb the scenes in ER??


well, my entrance today wasn't quite tat dramatic or 'she's-gonna-die-type-scary'..BUTTTTTTTTTTTT, i did get to sit on my 1st ever wheel chair!!~Wo0ts!! (don't get me wrong, i'm not exactly tat excited to be in a wheelchair=S, but wat the heck..since i have the chance, might as well enjoy it rite??=) the luxury of not havin to walk for a while=P)


Story begins wif----->


Mwa..happily goin bbq in bekenu wif frens.....helpin ppl set up the bbq pit etc., lightin the charcoal..

& tat's about it..the only painless moments for the day..yiaksssssssssss!!

THEN..
some1 juz had to move the bbq pit to a slightly diff spot, juz a few, teeny-weeny centimetres away. I noticed all tat happening, but mebbe due to plain recklessness n mebbe a weee-bit of bird-brainness/stupidity, b4 i knew it..i managed to literally bbq my foot b4 i had any real food cooked..geezzzz..

I STEPPED INTO SUPER-DUPER, MEGA, GIGA, ULTRA HOT SAND/CHARCOAL(by then i couldn't differenciate wat was wat..so anyhows..) & burnt my foot..OUCH X 100000..believe me when i say it..IT'S SO BLOOOOOODY PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the funny thing is, it's pretty weird coz instead of the sole, the top (izzit dorsal part??3 months of vacation killed my basic anatomy for the time being..but hav no fear, i promise to be a good dr next time, TRUST me..hehe) of my foot started to swell up n got covered wif HUMONGOUS blisters within a few hours..ALAMAK!! (i've nvr seen such big 1s b4, or mebbe they r boils instead of blisters, wil show the pics next time if any1 would like to hav a look =P)

n here i m at the ED, (i m pretty sure tat i got to the ED, but i somehow don feel the urgency..every1 was laid back n slowww), n saw fresh blood oozin out from a patient beside me..not a pretty sight. the amazin part is, after i came out from the treating room, i stil c the blood smeared on the floor. C?everything's reallllll slow, even the cleanin is slow....

Anyway, the medical assistant was reli nice tho, he cracked jokes (wasn't exactly hilarious but did the trick). the conversation below wif the MA made my day---->

MA: wa, kulit cantik tapi kena bakar sudah tak akan cantik lagi..
Me: Betul??!! Akan cantik lagi la lepas pulih=P
MA: U wait n c la.....
Me: HHHHAAAAA!!??betul??ada scar?Jadi akan hitam hitam??
MA: Oh, kalau makan kicap, akan jadi hitam la.
Me: Huh?? (wat the heck??)
MA: kalau makan air syrup hijau/ merah akan jadi merah/hijau lo....hahahahhaaha
Me: oh..tak apa..sekarang ada dermabrasion..=) (oh man, n i thought my foot was goin to be blacko or scarred forever..but CHOI!! touch wood..)

& yea..i can't leave my house for a whole week..boohoo T_T coz i can't walk n can't risk infection..BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Nevertheless, the bbq was stil enjoyable so 2 thumbs up for Hy..n the others hu helped prepare, ms n his sushi, his car, n daniel, for his jokes etc..(wil talk more bout bbq in the next entry n photos to come!!)

& last but not least, thanks a million to those hu cared n bothered to msg n ask bout my foot after everthin..AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH..the warmth of frenship (can feel tears wellin in my eyes, *sniff* *sniff* =P)

Hi, peeps!! Finally got a blog!!=)) after ages..
haha, got tis blog out of complete randomness & boredom. wat better way than tis to fill up my time durin summer hols??

for those of u hu r havin hols like i m..YAMMMMMMMMMMMSENGGGGGGGGGGGGG!! but u probably hav something betta' to do..
for those of u in uk..hmmmmm..u noe i mean U!!..well, happy studyin n don forget to shower me wif tons of presents next time since u guys r about to finish tourin Europe=P
